珂莱•黄慈 
       珂莱•黄慈，出生于美国纽约州罗彻斯特市。6岁起开始自学钢琴。7岁后进入费城塞拓门音乐学校，在英高夫森夫人的指导下正式学习钢琴演奏。之后的三年中，其音乐才华开始得到了诸多的关注和认可。7岁时曾受福克斯新闻电视台采访并编辑成“少年天才”节目在全美播放。8岁开始与乐队合作演奏钢琴协奏曲。美国国家交响乐团前副指挥安东尼•爱伯亦充分赞扬其罕见的音乐直觉和内在的音乐流畅性。她曾多次赢得在美国举办音乐比赛的奖项，其中包括1999年辛西纳提国际钢琴比赛青少年协奏曲组金奖和总奖，以及2001年费城交响乐团青少年比赛一等奖。
      2003年，珂莱•黄慈被美国著名的柯蒂斯音乐学院录取，并获自由独立基金会和赫协克全奖学金。其主要指导老师为盖瑞•格拉弗曼和爱丽诺•索科洛夫；同时她的音乐成长亦受益于其他著名艺术大师的指点，如，弗兰克、瓦蒂、克瑞涅夫、中村弘子、周广仁、古德等。
      如今的珂莱•黄慈，作为青年钢琴家举办的独奏音乐会遍及美国各州，包括纽约，宾夕法尼亚，俄亥俄，德克萨斯，科罗拉多，和加里福尼亚。此外她还曾与许多乐队合作演奏钢琴协奏曲作品，其中有费城交响乐团，科罗拉多青年爱乐，新哲西海洋城乐团，康尼狄克室内乐乐队，和世界节日乐团。2006年，珂莱•黄慈荣获了第五十七届科西阿斯科（Kosciuszko）萧邦国际钢琴比赛一等奖和第六届日本滨松国际钢琴比赛的杰出演奏奖。同年她应邀加入了雅马哈(YAMAHA)艺术家公司，成为最年轻的雅马哈艺术家。2009年珂莱•黄慈荣获达姆施塔特肖邦国际钢琴比赛一等奖及波兰舞曲最佳演绎奖。2010年，珂莱•黄慈在第八届美国肖邦国际钢琴比赛中荣获一等奖。随着她艺术风格和演奏技巧的成熟，珂莱•黄慈正把其独特真挚激昂感人的乐风带向世界。
Claire Huangci
Born in Rochester, New York, 21 year old American pianist Claire Huangci astonishes all who hear her perform. Legendary pianist Vladimir Krainev has dubbed her the pianist with “the fastest fingers in the world.” Coming from a family of scientists, Claire received a grand piano for her 6th year birthday present. After exploring the instrument herself in the first year, she was featured on FOX news as a child prodigy with the skills of a professional pianist.  
In 2003, Claire was accepted by the Curtis Institute with a full scholarship and continued her piano studies there for four years. During that time, she won the 57th Kosciuszko Chopin International Piano Competition in NYC and Diploma of Outstanding Merit in the Hamamatsu International Piano Competition. She also had her debut with the Philadelphia Orchestra under the baton of Wolfgang Sawallisch.
Claire made her first appearances in Europe in 2007 with solo performances in Herkulessaal die Residenz in Munich, Ludwigshafen, and in the Salle Cortot Hall of Paris as well as concerto appearances with National Philharmonique du Maroc, China Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Suedwestdeutsche Philharmonie Konstanz Orchestra.
During the 2008-2009 season, Claire appeared in numerous solo and concerto performances at various venues and festivals such as Vienna Konzerthaus with the Wiener Kammerorchester and Ariel Zuckermann, St. Petersburg Hermitage Theater with St. Petersburg Symphony, Bonn Beethovenhaus, Salzburg Mozarteum, Israel Rubinstein Foundation series, Osaka Symphony Hall, NYC Carnegie Hall, Bad Kissingen Klavierolympiade, Kissinger Sommer Festspiele, Schwetzingen Festspiele, and Mainz Musiksommer. 
Her 2009-2010 season began with her debut in Zurich Tonhalle with the Moscow Radio Symphony Orchestra and Maestro Fedosseyev under the auspices of the Orpheum Foundation and included concerts at Karlsruhe Konzerthaus, Frankfurt Sendesaal in cooperation with Hessischer Rundfunk, Duszniki Chopin Festival, Bregenz Festspielhaus, Antibes Generation Virtuoses Festival, Verbier Festival, and return visits to Bonn Beethovenhaus, Carnegie Hall and Paris Salle Cortot. In October 2009, Claire was awarded with the first prize and prize for the best performance of the polonaise at the Darmstadt International Chopin Competition. In February 2010, Claire Huangci was awarded with the 1st prize and all special prizes at the 8th US National Chopin Competition. Recently, she became a laureate at the 2010 Queen Elisabeth Competition where she performed Prokofiev’s Piano Concerto no. 2 with the National Orchestra of Belgium under the direction of Maestro Marin Alsop at the Brussels Palais des Beaux Arts. She was given the honor of performing the opening concert at the Shanghai EXPO with Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra and Sir Roger Norrington in May 2010, as part of the orchestra’s Asian tour, with additional concerts in Macao, and Shenzhen. 
Claire Huangci has been studying at the Hannover Musikhochschule with Prof Vardi since October 2007. She has received scholarships from Deutsche Stiftung Musikleben, DAAD, and Yamaha Music Foundation, and was awarded the 2010 SONY career grant from NYC Salon de Virtuosi, Promusicis Award, and the Orpheum Music Prize from Zurich.
